Happy New Year 2011,
Interesting couple of days ending the year 2010! 19degrees, then an earthquake..more like a sonic hum than a rattle, next day 52degrees, snow melted all away~looks too brown and muddy now~ and then thunderstorms at the transition of the Old year and the New year...I also think I heard the tornado warning yesterday at about 11:30am...unless someone was asleep at the horn and set the 11am Friday siren off a little late. Well, what more could you want...about 3 seasons in 3 days!
I don't know if you are into New Year's resolutions~I never can challenge myself with something I HAVE to do...so we'll let that slide. KennyRogersLookAlikeBeforethePlasticSurgeryWentWrong and I celebrated quietly eating pizza, sitting in the sun room listening to Sinatra Style Jazz on Windows Media Radio Tuner, savoring too many pieces of boxed Christmas chocolates and enjoying the lightening and thunder. Perfect evening, we think!

A very Happy New Year to you, Kim. I think your evening sounds wonderful.
Oh - about my furry friend - She's very tentative and only crosses the threshold. The slightest quick movement has her scurrying out the door. I get a bit nervous when she stares up at the tabletop tree...One jump and my ornaments will be history! Enjoy the first day of 2011.

I like your whimsy, Kim. A lovely, human, gentle blog!
We felt that earthquake here in Ohio! Nothing more than the kitchen glassware rattling, but still...my goodness!
Can't believe those warm temps melted all of our snow away! I'd rather have the pretty white than the brown soggy ground showing!
Happy New Year to you Kim! Hope 2011 is a wonderful one for you!
Sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate the ending and beginning all at the same time. Happy 2011...
Happy New year Kim! Hope 2011 is treating you well so far.
I didn't feel the earthquake here the other day. My office is on the 8th floor. Maybe I was too high off the ground : )
Have a great Sunday!
Jazz, thunderstorm, pizza... Yup, pretty perfect. Happy New Year.
