For 'tis green, green, green, where the ruined towers are gray,
And it's green, green, green, all the happy night and day;
Green of leaf and green of sod, green of ivy on the wall,
And the blessed Irish shamrock with the fairest green of all.

I remember when my cousin Kerry and I sat in the clover filled yard between my family home and our grandma's (his greatgrandma) house and we searched all day for a four leaf clover..I know we looked at every clover...did we find one...in our minds we did! Do you remember that, Kerry? We were very little and I think of you every St. Patrick's day because of that memory!
