Trying to get into the mood for Christmas...but I can't find the Christmas Tree box in the King Tut's tomb of a basement. Here's a picture of what it looked like in the past....along with my favorite ornament of my Mother's..at least I know where that is. I know I saw the tree box in July..I know it's only December 5, but parties and gift exchanges start very soon and I'm not prepared...the more I try to straighten the house in anticipation of finally finding the little tree...hmmm maybe it is stuffed up the chimney for safe keeping? ...the house looks even messier. I think this year the family and friends should just go shopping together and decide that we will buy ourselves what we like and everyone will 'cheer' at our choices! That way every one gets what they want and we have had a great time together..then spend Christmas the way in the true spirit of how it should be spent...

What a pretty tree! It should spring out from hiding and put itself up! ha.

I like your idea of dinner out and shopping! :)

If only there were tracker devices on all the things we thought we might lose....

But then if we KNEW we were going to lose 'em, we'd write down where we'd put them. Or some other daft organisational strategy? Does KRB... have any idea where it is??? x

I asked KRB about it and he says he hasn't seen it...now usually he will say that he knows we have it and it's down there...but he leaves off the part that goes"we just can't get to it". that is our basement...We know we have it~we just can't get to it right now~ hahahaha

Hope you find that tree and ornament soon...or forget about it and stick a bow on a pointsettia. I'm all for a stress-free holiday. Your shopping idea sounds pretty good to me, too!

I have no idea what happens in my loft but it's more like the Christmas decorations breed than hide - I seem to have hundreds!
