Just a thought....
This thought just came to me... Do electric lights make a noise that we subconsciously hear? You know how quiet the night is when all the lights are out.....
Some lights have a gentle buzz when they are on especially fluorescent tubes and on very quiet times of the night I hear the wheel on the electric meter turning. I would not describe those noises as 'subconscious'
I should probably rephrase and say they make a sound that is recognized in the depths of the brain but dismissed by the conscious realm we are in most of the time. hahaha That is cool, Mel, that you can hear the electric meter wheel turning. The thought reminded me of the question: if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound.
hello Kim! if you have a look through the past few posts at Sophies blog http://fading-grace.blogspot.com/ you'll see she has a new addition to her family that will touch both our hearts!
hoping all is well with you xx ps yes, I'm wearing the vest as I type!
kimms, and you are talkin' 'bout my meandering mind? glad to read the light's back on though. hooray to online.... ;))) (and a brilliant[too harsh] full moon too... i've had to put up those blinds! n♥ talkin' 'bout light, indeed...
Cool lamps!! P.S. in answer to your question, I live in Minnesota - lots of beautiful scenery to capture :) Although having recently done some traveling with my job, I swear if I just stopped to take the million pictures I'd like to, I could find beauty just about anywhere! :)
