The little pond outside my office is alive and thriving. The Canadian geese have had their little goslings, the Blue Heron is on the pond nearly all day long now and I just saw a turtle head sticking up out of the water at the shoreline sunning himself!

On the homefront, one my squirrels isn't fareing as well. One of them has mange mites and she is very ill looking..so I think today KennyRogersLookAlikeBeforeThePlasticSurgeryWentWrong is going to stop by the Exotic and Wild Animal vet and pick up some Ivermectin for me to administer to my little darlings. A very kind new patient of the dental practice I work for who just called to make an appointment (I have the uncanny knack of having detailed but short conversations with people on the phone~I don't know a stranger) told me he is going to stop by and bring me some also since he is well versed in the administering of such medications. We have the best patients...how thoughtful of him! So hopefully soon all wildlife habitat arenas around me will be alive and thriving!

My little girl squirrel has been missing for a month and a half. Now 3 little boys visit me. Pecans are 9.99 @lb. They're adorable but they have huge balls. Hahahaha.

Oh, Catherine you gave me the laugh of the day! The little boy squirrels are indeed well endowed! Mine just eat unsalted peanuts in the shell. I would be spending more than my income for a year with as many little friends as I have if I bought pecans! Sunflower seeds are favored also..in the shell..they shell everything and never eat the membrane on the peanut..so cute!

how you manage to weave poorly squirrels into a short conversation with someone booking a dental appointment must be a very special skill! hope you manage to get that medicine and squirrel to meet each other.

I know, Miss Trashsparklette, my mind is full of trivia, I can pull a rabbit out of it anytime.
This is how the conversation went///New patient called..took down all the usual info and reason for appt. and then asked for an email address. Part of the email was the word cavy which I had just seen the day before when I was looking up info on squirrels and mange etc. It means guinea pig. I remembered that and told this person that I had just learned that word and why I had come across it. He said he knows all about mange and has the medicine that I need for my squirrels and said he will bring it to me...so there that is how I happen to have a short detailed conversation with a perfect stranger. EAsy PEasy in my mind! Now the trick to get the poorly squirrel to visit me is not so easy.
