Christmas Feeling

I feel the need to clean the house. I feel the need to put up more Christmas decorations than just the little tree. I feel the need to go to the basement/dungeon and dig through boxes for Christmas lights so that the neighbors don't think we are depressed. I feel the cold, wet snow on my wrists...I feel the need to wipe it off quickly. I feel the need to have my tire on my car checked out by a professional even though I am pretty sure this below 0 fahrenheit temp has caused it to deflate a bunch and alarm me.
I have a lot of feelings of need, and yet I sit at this computer and type....
I am enjoying all of your Christmasy blogs...that puts me in the spirit.
(look Nadine! Fiennes isn't in this post!hahaha)

Hi Kim:

Usually every year I feel all of those "needs" and this year I am not honoring any of those needs as they are no longer the most important to me. I am all about family and friends and enjoying each moment...not the needs or must do's. I hope you enjoy more and "need" less. Happy Holly Jolly

I'm feeling the "need" but I'm not doin' much about it! I agree with you...I'm just going to enjoy each moment!

you crazy gal...! i just stumble upon your no-fiennes post... ha ha ha... cheerz.
but i also comprehend what you mean by needing to do this and that. i propose a move over the x-mas holidays, and you'll find you easily slip into a no-need mode. not that it drives me overly happy. it is just so strange... i don't even know where i've put my x-mas tree, and i'm telling you, it ain't small niether...
ha ha ha..
enjoy those x-mas broods though, hey?
