Anything Goes

I frequently read a blog called Daisy Cottage. Kim of that blog is such a genuine and sweet person and her blog today was on being free to decorate the way you want to..and I say Hear,Hear!
WE love our decorating shows but sometimes they make us feel that we are not decorating properly...have too much color or what we are all probably guilty of...too much stuff. We love our color and stuff and should be surrounded by all that we love...it makes us feel safe...and if we habitually watch the news...we are made to feel unsafe...so Color up those abodes and pile in that stuff! Your house is your world and you can make it a billowy nest that two kitties would love to sink into!

Well said and I am in total agreement.
Surround yourself with the things that make you smile, even if they don't match. Matching stuff how boring.

True words my dear. Just stuff your house with the things youlove. It's just that i can't stand too much clutter for my house. It makes me nervous and even more chaotic then i already am.No news yet from the Belgium front. Will do another searchparty soon. Big hugs. XX

Hi, Kim! I'm finally back and posted pictures of our baby. Hope you'll stop by. Before I could post anything, I had to go back through our blog and erase any reference to our full names and our town. The situation with adoption made that necessary and we didn't want the birthmother to be able to do an internet search and find us or the baby. For that reason, I can't even post his name on the blog but will come up with a nickname that I can use. It's been tough, as my life has always been an open book! Suddenly I am having to edit! Whew! Forgive my long absence. I could tell you so much! Perhaps we could exchange email addresses so that I could write to you in a way that is not so public. ;-) Anyway, I'm glad to now be able to post again. He's growing like a little weed already!
