What would you like to eat? Let's go look in the pantry and see if we have something we can whip up quickly....Oh! Don't let that sign worry you..it's a joke in response to a tease from my son! Here's the table, I cleared it off for you...so have a seat. Let's see...what can we make? We have flour and sugar and butter and cream....we'll fix crepes with asparagus and mushrooms in a creamy bernaise...and look! We even have some sweet vermouth...a pantry always has the staples of life.

Your pantry looks as beautiful as the rest of your house! Oh, does my poor pantry need a makeover! You could give me some tips! ;-) I love the rug under your table. You have such a great sense of style. Don't you need to make a trip to Tennessee sometime in the future? I hear there's a former B&B that is needing some design and decor help..... ;-)
Kim, I can't tell you how much your recent comments in response to our adoption process mean to me. Some days are so difficult and depressing when the wait seems to be never-ending. It is kind and supportive comments like yours that help me get through those days. Thank you, my friend, for taking the time to offer encouragement, grieve with me for a little while, and help lift me from the place I have fallen. I am doing much better today and in an easier frame of mind. Today, the wait is not so impossible, as I know the wonderful gift that will be ours at the end of it.
